    • Assalamu’alaikum,

It’s quite often happened to me that at the end of Ramadan I always felt unsatisfied with my ibadah and asked Allaah to give me opportunity to be with Ramadan for the next year. Hopefully this article will make me more ready to fulfill Ramadan this year with more and more ibadah.

Thank you so much for this inspiring article. I always admire your sites.
May Allah bless u and your team.

  1.  salamu alikum ..very helpful thanks a lot ..
just a question ..how do you focus on your prayer ? ..sometimes you are just too busy with what you will do after prayer in the prayer time ..
so you don’t feel the sweetness of it at all ..and it starts to be a habit not a worshiping ..
    jazak Allah khair ..

    • Well, what I do myself is try not to think about anything except the Lord.
Try to concentrate on the Quran that you read while praying, try to recite something that you do not memorize by heart, if, for instance, you always recite a specific part while praying, your subconscious will be doing it and not your conscious mind so you will not concentrate while reciting this part. You need to recite different parts.
Try these steps and I hope they would help you. :)

  4. jak, as a 15 year old i often find it hard to pray fajr and pray at school no matter how hard i try i found this post very helpful as ramathan 2013 is around the corner, please can you pray for me, can you ask allah to help me find my place in islam and to make praying easier.

  6. I’m a struggling Muslim for about 25 years and it say strive with patience & perseverance. ALLAH know all his creations, so continue to ask Him to help you in your weak areas. I take care of 3 disable people in my home and it get tough sometimes, but i do my best to stay on Mustaqim !!!

  7. Asalaamu Alaikum wa Ramatullahi wa Barakatu
Jazak Allahu khairun for these excellent suggestions. Unfortunately I will have exams I can’t study ahead for as my class begins 2 weeks into Ramadan. Also, purchasing EId gifts I have to do as I get money which isn’t on a regular basis. May Allah make it easy for all Muslims to become closer to Him this Ramadan and do our best to remain focused on that. Ameen!

  8. May Allah bless you in your work. Unfortunately, where I live at present there is no masjid and the Muslim community is scant. I have not managed to memorise much of the Quran esp long Surahs or verses that I would have love to have incorporated into my tarawih and neither do I have the opportunity to pray in congregation as this facility is not open to the sisters in the area we live in. We do not have amongst our sisters any that have memorised the Quran to lead us in tarawih. I also have young Children and can get easily tired at the end of the day. I am worried about my energy levels for the nights of Ramadan that will probably be short again this year and want to make the most of them . Could you please advise on how I could have a productive Ramadan in my circumstances and also if possible, how I could make it exciting for my children. JazakAllahu Khairan. I love all your articles because they take into account the way we live today.

  9. jazakAllah khayran for the explaination, , i was struggling for this from i was children until now, , masha Allah is almost 20 years, so much trial and trubilation.,, may Allah help me and make easy for me, aameen

once again jazakAllah khayran abu productive may Allah increase you with goodness in here and the next, aameen.

  13. As wr wb
May Allah swt accept all of your sincere efforts & may He put barakah in them, in your time, sincerity, love and obedience for Him. Amin.

At the end it says: Don’t take your phone with you to the place you pray and forget the world as you stand between the hands of the almighty Allah subḥānahu wa ta’āla (glorified and exalted be He).
How do we stand between His hands during our prayer?

I am preparing listening to lectures and talks, we are trying to deep clean our home, do shopping before the blessed month starts. Then I will also select which duaas I will be making and when, my daily schedule, the menu, In Shaa’ Allah.

    Baaraka Allahu li wa lakum
    As wr wb

  14. the is world is faith-challenging and our generation seems to be the worse. This is a good site 2 help fighting one’s soul.if u win ur soul today expect a tougher fight tomorrow, that’s our world.jazakumullah khaeran

  15. As salamu alaikum, I plan out iftyar and suhoor recipes a week ahead. I try to keep it simple else its difficult to do ibadah. Forex: fruits , milk, bread and some side dish, dates. I plan how much to recite and how much to read in tafseer on daily basis. Me and my husband do this together. However, if it crosses the limit then its fine. But that should not reduce. We do shopping a week bfr ramzan. The most difficult part for me is….. I live with my in laws and i hv a small baby. So doing all works alone is difficult at times with no help from people. But Allah gives the strength and soem sort of peace gushes into heart when i manage to accomplish work and ibadah as planned. Alhamdulillah.

  16. I get boosted from this site Alhamdulillah and with these 8 steps for Ramadan i would love to do more than the last year In sha Allah.

May Allah ease in our good plans.
And may Allah Accept our good deeds from us. Aameen Ya Rabb.
    Remember everyone in prayers.

    Jazaak Allah hu khaira ?
