I think part of the definition of “job” is salary. You’re not “hiring”. You’re looking for a skilled volunteer. I think there’s a difference.
Thanks for sharing your honest feedback with us!
I see what you’re saying, but I’m sure you’d agree that a “job” doesn’t necessitate monetary compensation and that “hiring/recruitment” is simply a process of sourcing required skills.
I understand that people in jobs are generally compensated monetarily (i.e., have a salary) and so the same was expected from our recruitment ad.
Technically, “job vs. volunteer role” and “hiring vs. looking for” don’t really differ. However, we will keep this point of choice of words in mind during future recruitment to stay safe from misunderstandings, inshaAllah.
JazakAllah khair for telling us what you think! Truly appreciate it.
Thanks for sharing your opinion here!
I think it would really depend on what one’s seek to gain. Every member of the Productive Muslim team is a volunteer and we think it’s one of the best opportunities we’ve got in life, alhamdulillah.
Appreciate your honest feedback.
I am deeply sorry, because I don’t have enough skills to work with you guys but you have all my support!
May Allah bless you all.
PS: a productive muslim will always manage his/her time well in order to do this kind of volunteer work ;-)
With the paycheck I get in this life, I can only deposit it in to my bank account here & use it shortly after to purchase a product of use.
But putting my time & hard work in a task like this, is like depositing my paycheck with Allah SWT, in the bank of Hereafter, with the hope of purchasing a little piece of Jannah. In Sha Allah.
May Allah SWT bless us all with His Bountiful Mercy.
May Allah accept it from us all. Ameen.
I’m afraid you’ve misunderstood here. All members are Productive Muslim are given due credit, recognition, and feedback, alhamdulillah. The difference may lie in the fact that most of that is done internally in our case as we prefer to have our audience focus on Productive Muslim rather than the team. :)
