  1. Assalammualaikum Brother Abu,

Could you extend the deadline for applications till 12th March?

I would like to apply for the position of Content Co-ordinator for Productive Muslimah.

I feel the mentioned deadline of 10th March is too short for me to do the cover letter.

I might be busy till 9th March due to my work commitments.

It would be greatly appreciated if the deadline for the applications can be extended by another 2 days.

Look forward to your positive reply.

    Thank you and Jazakallah Khairan.

    Salaams,

    Sister Sabur

  2. Assalamualaikum, I would like to know if there is any age limit? I’m quite interested but feel that I am underage for the positions.

  3. Assalammualaikum Brother Abu,

Could you extend the deadline for the applications to 12th March?

Cos I feel the 10th March deadline is too short.

I am interested to apply for the Content Co-ordinator for Productive Muslimah.

I fear I might not have enough time to do my coverletter by that day for submission, due to my work commitments.

Hence it would be greatly appreciated if the deadline can be extended by another 2 days.

Looking forward to your positive reply.

    Thank you and Jazakallah Khairan.

    Salaams,

    1. Wa alaikum assalaam warahmatullah Sabur,

I appreciate your eagerness to apply. We’ll wait to consider your application until the 12th but will begin the shortlisting process by the 10th insha Allah owing to the number of applications that have been coming in.

  4. Assalammualaikum Brother,
I was wondering if ProductiveMuslim have any activities in Kota kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
Thank you and Jazaka Allah Khairan.
    Amina

  5. Assalamu Alaikum,

that was a great topic and I really wished I had the skills you require for those jobs, but, unfortunately i don’t :SS

I wish I can work “as a volunteer” with Productive Muslim, but I am not “experienced” or “excellent” at anything, don’t you have any tasks (small tasks) for beginners like me, or some small positions where I can be trained and skilled at something and be an “experienced member ..you know, something like training .. I want to be devoted and committed member for Productive Muslim, please.

It would be really great if you provide such opportunities.

    1. Wa alaikum assalaam warahmatullah Radwa,

I’m sure you have some skills which you could utilize to contribute to the Ummah, if not in the positions advertised above, perhaps in other roles. :)

Keep an eye on our website for such announcements in various roles that we have.

In addition, you could also send us your CV explaining any experience you’ve had in any area along with some thoughts on how you think you can contribute to Productive Muslim. (Send this to [email protected].) Should we have any opportunities suiting your skill set, we will get back to you, inshaAllah.

  6. Assalaam Wallekum,

Are the times for the Researcher role flexible? I’m asking this because, i attend college and i was wondering if the times will be flexible within my College timetable.

    Thank you

    1. Wa alaikum assalaam warahmatullah Hazrat Khan,

Yes, the timings are flexible as long as you do commit as many hours as required and complete the given tasks on time. We’re a virtual team ourselves who are full-time employees/students/parents, etc. and part-time volunteers at Productive Muslim. :)

  7. Assamu’alaykum wah’rahmatullahi wah’baraktahu
    Brother

    Abu,
Alhamdulillah this would be the most exciting and rewarding job application I’d have ever written :)
However I feel like there are many other far more stronger contender for these positions compared to my limited skills :( Also being the fact that My full time work and soon to commence another 30 odd weekly hours of intensive study along with few other volunteer commitments, I have too much on my plate! I am not afraid to take some more on-board tho!
Just a thought, why don’t you take some more appreciative Sisters and brothers on your team so that the weekly commitment and the centralised skills set are not much concentrated to one/ two individuals? There must be some standard weekly commitments and performance review for sure otherwise there would be no drive..
This way enthusiasts like myself would have the fair chance at the GOOD DEEDS Insha’allah :)

    Zazak’allak Khair

    Anwar Sultan

    1. Wa alaikum assalaam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh Anwar,

You do have quite a bit on your plate! I appreciate your enthusiasm, mashaAllah. :)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We focus on having just one person for each role above because it keeps the team management tidy, effective, and efficient. This, we say from experience! We’ve tried having many people.

That said, as long as you’re contributing and benefitting the Ummah, that’s great! We can’t be everywhere. :) However, we do hope you can apply when time permits and when we have any such opportunities in the future, inshaAllah. Keep an eye on our website!

  8. Al salam alaikum;
I wanted to ask when would the job start? I am currently a student, and would really like to apply, but want to ensure that job requirements would not start before mid-June, to ensure dedication to my studies.
    Thanks

  9. Salamoalaikom
Yes I would like to join, and I am qualified to do such a job , but I do not know if i can supply the 7-10 hours a week

    Would you accept any less

    1. Wa alaikum assalaam warahmatullah Mohammed,

Regretfully, we cannot accept any less given the workload and that it’s part-time work as it is. We hope to hear from you again when time permits you to join, inshaAllah!

  10. salam everyone a I am very happy to join you and be a volunteer but i have no experience . so could you illuminate me by providing more information on how can i carry out such a job.
