  1. Mashallah! This is exactly what I need! Jazak Allah Khair sister Mia for creating an all in one tool! Can someone guide me as to how I can get my hands on this? Please :)

    • Just visit her facebook page.its at the end of the article (about the author) and u’ll get all the information you need to get one. :)

  2. As Salamu aleikum,
Productive muslim, I find this site very inspiring and have gain a lot through your articles. Continue the good work and may Allah (SWT) bless you and make this medium a window to many brothers & sisters who find lapses in their life.
    Jazakallah khair

  3. I find really tasteless and bordering on the insulting (insulting to the reader) this practice of using hadith freely just to make your advertorial point… the hadith aforementioned I thought (and I thought!) it meant only that you are not able to sell what does not LEGALLY BELONG to you, which does not necessarily imply (as you do by saying “it is in accordance to”…) that I must ‘see and feel’ the item: are “seeing and feeling” necessary conditions attached to the act of re-selling? Could the act of re-selling not be based on trust/assurance of the quality of the item instead? Are you implying if I do business without one of these conditions (seeing or feeling) that your interpretative process added to the act of ‘possessing’ then I’d not be acting in accordance to the hadith?

For example, I sell things hand-made in X country by trustworthy people who i personally met and know well, however I never ‘feel’ the items that I sell, only see pictures… are you saying that by doing this I am contradicting the hadith? Would my transaction be unlawful if I re-sold 10,000 pens, which I was described and assured of their quality at the time of purchase, but never previously seen and used myself?

My answer is “I don’t know”, but my point is that it would be best to refrain to make reference to hadith without context and unless the issue is discussed thoroughly using scholarly opinions. The use of the hadith was especially unnecessary in this context where it was used for purely commercial/advertising purposes.

    • I agree. Also, as this article is not a critical review but rather a lengthy advert for the product, it would be nice if it was clear from the beginning if this website is affiliated with the product/manufacturer to allow readers to make a more educated choice in deciding whether they would be using their time “productively” by continuing to read.

      • Thank you for the feedback. Yes, I should have indicated at the beginning that there is no affiliation or financial compensation involved and this is merely a review from a happy user. Will keep this in mind for future writing. :) As for balance – I have mentioned the shortcomings I found and masha Allah it wasn’t much.

    • Sister Mia Widiasari has done so good with her Ultimate Muslimah Planner and I see this as a Jihad act. May Allaah reward her. I am interested in the BUSINESS and I wish to be in contact with her straightaway.

Also, Sister Saffiyah has also made a valid point of Da’wah importance, also no less a Jihad act, that we must all NOTE. I recently listened with concern to a professional colleague who joked among other colleagues with narration of how his parents took him as a boy to a highly regarded “Sheikh” around Ota (in Ogun State of Nigeria) for “Islamic Exam Success Assistance/Charm/Magic” for certain subjects! The “Sheikh” simply scribbled something on the traditional black slate called “Wallaa”, washed and collected in a container for the ignorant clients. The Sheikh then instructed them that he should memorize and recite “WA SAABI KOUNA SAABIKOUNA” as profusely as possible while drinking the off-wash till the day of his examination! He recalled scoring “F9” the WORST OF ALL GRADES IN ALL THE CONCERNED SUBJECTS! We can best imagine the damage done to his and many likes GUIDANCE through “CORRUPTION” of the MEANING, IMPLICATION, & USE of even the perspicuous verses of the glorious Qur’an.

    • Sister Safiyah and brother AbduRahman – thank you for reading this article with a critical eye and watching out for the quality of the content we share publicly. The supplier’s contact info is available in the post if you would like to offer your opinion to her. :)

  4. and finally just another point. If the developer made as her personal policy to sell to wholesalers only once they feel the product, fantastic. You could also mention that this choice was Islamically inspired (following for example the idea that we should conduct business honestly and fairly). No need to stretch the meaning of an hadith without actually contextualizing and explaining your point in detail. IF ‘seeing and feeling’ are indeed necessary conditions, then please bring on the proof. If they are not or it is not at all clear cut then you are misleading people to believe they are…
