SubhanaAllah, today came across a verse in the Quran that sent shivers down my spine.
Allah says in the Quran:
“If they had intended to come out, they would certainly have made some preparation therefore; but Allah was averse to their being sent forth; so He made them lag behind, and they were told, “Sit ye among those who sit (inactive).” ( سورة التوبة , At-Taubah, Chapter #9, Verse #46)
If we were to look for an Islamic definition of Productivity, it can probably be summarised in the word “barakah” or Blessing. Being able to achieve more with few resources, doing much in little time, and generating a lot with little effort is surely a blessing from Allah (Subahanahu Wa Ta’ala).Read Full Article
