  1. Wonderful article. I shall be memorising the anti-procrastination dua!
Any tips for maintaining focus during prayers would be gratefully received – I try so hard but am rarely successful, most discouraging!
If you have not seen it, there is a little book called Aisha’s Ramadhan diary – full of excellent information and ready made schedules to photocopy, with soul satisfying tick boxes.
Wishing all readers the blessings Ramadhan.
    Thank you Talha.

    • Jazak’ALLAH khair dear Khadijah. Well, focusing on Salah is something which is sometimes pretty difficult and I struggle with it too. I believe the trick is to concentrate on each and every word you are saying, making sure that we know what we are saying, i.e. we know the meaning and praying as if we are in a conversation with the Almighty. I think practicing to pray this way will go a long way in helping us to focus In sha ALLAH.

Wish you Ramadan Kareem as well.

  2. JazakAllah khair, very useful and agree with Khadijah, just wrote the dua down, best way to being! inshaAllah,

  3. I can´t sleep early because here in Sweden we will fast 20 hours in shaa allah. Whats your tips? JAzakallah khair for these tips:)

    • Dear Anab,

I live in the UK and we will have approximately the same amount of time to fast In sha ALLAH. I think it is better to sleep as soon as possible after the Isha prayer and then wake up before Fajr for Sohour. After you have had your Sohour and prayed your Fajr prayers/Quran recitation etc, you should sleep for a few hours again in order to keep yourself energized for the rest of the day. In sha ALLAH ALLAH will help us through these long fasts. Ameen Wish you best of luck.

  4. JazakAllah Khair for this wonderful article, mau Allah SWT reward you abundantly :) btw in England he fast will be 19 and half hours long so any tips on that? That means ther wont be much time for Tahajud prayers :(

  5. Assalam-o-alaikum. Wonderful article especially para 7 is very forceful. May All put more barakah in your words. Ameen. Do you have more tips on how to get rid of bad habit?

  7. Thank you for sharing this. I especially love the tips on finishing Qur’an in the whole Ramadaan, never thought how simple it could be! :D And the tips 7 “you gotta do what you gotta do”… nails it.

  8. Well.. I have got inspired from this article..
This is my one of the weakness while following my schedule… I would also like to know the solution regarding positivity which some times i feel cant be possible for me to remain. I feel demotivated when i start thinking about my future..which is unpredictable.

  9. Great article! Jazakallahu khairan. I personally find it easy to beat procrastination and be more productive if I’m being held accountable. So is there anyone looking for an accountability partner for this Ramadan?

  10. Alhamdulillah. I learnt some tips from this writeup. Procrastination remains biggest problem. In sha Allah, I will try to apply this tips. Jazakumullahu khayran.

  11. Assalamu’ Alaykum. Jazakallah khairan for this beautiful article may Allah reward you abundantly. I love the fact that you included all links for the appropriate reference however, there is one link that is not there when you click on it. It is the Ramdan schedule link. Based on what I see when I use “copy link URL” this is the link –

But when you click the link from the article it takes you to the main page –

This is the link that comes up when I copy it –

    I hope this helps.
