In the second season of the Productive Muslim Podcast, we go through the Pre- Ramadan Bootcamp with our host, Mifrah Mahroof. The purpose of this bootcamp is to help you prepare for Ramadan spiritually, physically and socially so that when Ramadan begins you will be in a better position to make the most out of it.
In today’s episode, we discuss how you can design your behaviour for laziness. Assuming that you’re a very lazy person and not motivated to change, what can you do to make your behaviour change easier and not very hard.
For example, I want to read more Quran, but I am lazy to recite Quran early in the morning or late in the evening. What if I designed “reciting Quran” for laziness by reciting when I’m doing something idle, e.g. Waiting for my computer to turn on at work OR watching the laundry to finish.
Think of some more examples of how you can design new habits assuming that you’re a lazy person and share with us in the comments section!
Did you do your 3 challenges? Let us know in the comments section by answering in one the following ways:
- I have done all three challenges today
- I didn’t do them today
- I did the Spiritual, not the Physical, but the social
- I didn’t do the spiritual, nor the physical, but I did the social
Thank you for listening!
