  6. Ma sha’a Allah, BarakAllah! I’m happy and pleased with the way you opened your 6 tips for getting back on track with your goal with the Hadith reported from Umar Ibnu Al-Khattab (RA) that has to do with intention. Honestly, as Muslims, we should purify our intentions to be for Allah’s sake in whatever we are going to do, and that goal or whatever should be in accordance with the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad, SAW). We should remember the life for mankind (Ath-thaqalain-human beings and Jinns) is for worship (Ibadah). For this kind of goal, we will surely be rewarded by Allah (SWT) and may also be rewarded worldly whether we achieve it or not. I noticed something is missing from your tip 5 in celebrating your milestone. That thanks or gratefulness (SHUKUR) should be directed to Allah (SWT) first before showing appreciation to any supporter!

  7. Thanks for sharing us this important article as a Muslim we have to keep in the mind that we are the people leading this world because we representing our Prophet Mohamed peace be upon him so you have work hard and learn your religion as you can and be motivated .Muslim situation are so strange if you are in KHAYR or good deed you are acknowledging (shukur) to your ALLAH or if your in terrible you are in Patience, so go head every one ,never quit and never give up.
    Thnaks you brother again.
    Alhamdu Lillah.

  8. Alhamdulillah another way to get back or stay on track is to remind oneself that the help of Allah is always near and that Allah is with those who are patient so find like minded people and started In sha Allah.

  9. Assallammualaikum,
Hi I am Tyas from Indonesia. I want to thank you for this article. It’s like the reminder or answer from Allah SWT to us that I ever loose my goal and like what it written, “it doesn’t about how many starts over you take or fails but just keep goin”

  10. Salam Alaykum, I am happy we have such a beautiful piece that’s coming from the islamic perspective. May Allah reward the productivemuslim crew for its efforts.. And Jazakullah to the sister who wrote the piece.
I personally think caution has to be taken before announcing one’s goals. Like she rightly mentioned, it has to be to those who will be able to relate to the goals and not to everyone… I think relating our goals to the wrong people may demotivate us if such people can see any good in what we want to do. Especially when such people are very dear to us.

  11. MashaAllah such simplicity and clarity is hard to find in these complicated times and I am so glad that I got to read this wonderful article which has renewed my faith in Allah that if we are sincere and grateful then he will surely help us one way or the other… The best thing about this article is that it has made me realise that most often being disappointed with ones lack of progress is not recognised as ungratefullness. Whereas the truth is that if on one hand we repent to Allah for going off the track then simultaneously we should remember all the good stuff that he allowed us to accomplish. Mostly I think it is due to lack of gratitude that we lose our energy and so we become weaker and less able to achieve our goals. Thus gratitude is the key which all of us need and we should protect it like we protect our house keys :))

  12. This is quite practical to be touch with our goal…because mostly we forget our goals and priorities during a day and focus on emergencies and pressure which ultimately lead to our failure….the best article…simple and practical.

  13. Assalamulaikum…
Really an inspiring piece of an article. For me the most difficult part is keeping track of the goals and I know that’s why I end up half successful in achieving them. In sha Allah I need to start this habit right now. Again thanks a lot for this wonderful tips.May Allah bless u.

  14. MashaAllah

  16. Jazakallahu khayran. Also we should to be spiritually equiped and upright so easy will be our way Inshaa Allah

  17. While trying again and again is very important, I think improving or pivoting your efforts at every try is central to your success. When we fail in one effort , it is our destiny; but it also means that there is something we have to improve or change in our effort ; every time u fail think about what went wrong, discuss with genuine people relevant to the subject ; don’t put up the same effort without improving something ; and Allah knows better

  18. The six steps you mentioned have very great motivation in my daily life.May Allah rewards you abundantly, inshaallah in your work. Thank you very much

  21. جزاك الله ألف ألف خير
Ireally loved this article, and the last tip reminds me of something Nelson Mandela said:”don’t judje me by how many times i succeeded but with how many times i fell but stood again”

  22. You will be amazed at the improvements that take place in every part of your life, and they will take place far faster than you can imagine. The more you get your time and your life under control, the more you will get done and the more enjoyable it will be. Because the more you get done, the more free time you will have.

  23. Baraka’Allahu fikum for sharing this article :) I’m working currently on a personal goal, and relating with step 2 I’m encountering difficulties with breaking my goal into specific small tasks. I’m never sure if they’re the right ones. It’s challenging but more challenging is to stick to the goal and don’t give up..Personal successes whatever small they are, are the boost for self-confidence and for more successful accomplishments.
