  26. Jazakullah. We only have to look around us in society to see if people are managing and coping with life. The increase in mental health issues, rates of suicide as well as rise in alcohol drug addictions. It’s going out of control probably due to not coping with certain situations in lives usually very difficult scenarios which we often hear about in the news

    This article is very good reminder about how we must see and understand that ALLAH tests us through these trials and tribulations. But we have to show patience strength and trust in our almighty and one ALLAH. Very good read

  28. Assalaamu ‘ alaykoum, sister;

    I received this in my email 2 days ago and I didn’t read it then because firstly I was busy with school and secondly I quite honestly didn’t think I would need it anyways. But ALLAH’s Qadr has its way and yesterday I faced a pretty grave problem. To be honest I was on the verge of despair because it’s so serious and frightening. Surprisingly though, I think some good is supposed to be extracted from it and while I was checking my email just now, I saw this article and decided to see what it was about. Alhamdulillah, I was very touched and I feel hopefu nowl even though I don’t think anyone would be hopeful in the situation I am in. Jazaki ALLAHOU khayran, sister, may ALLAH SWT grant you Jannaatul Firdaws al a’la. Keep up your beneficial work.

    • Walaykum AsSalam wa Rahmat Allah waBarakatuhu, my dear sister Mariya,

      AlhamdulAllah for receiving your comment. Jazaki Allahu Khairan for sharing your precious experience. Subhan Allah, so much wisdom in it for all of us. It’s really touching and deserves pondering.

      But first and foremost I want to remind the two of us that there is always hope. And Allah ( subhanahu wa ta’ala) brought this article your way for a reason. It is a reminder to always know that there is hope and to never give up or give in to despair.

      Look how Generous Allah is:

      “Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Allah, the Exalted, has said: ‘O son of adam, I forgive you as long as you pray to Me and hope for My forgiveness, whatever sins you have committed. O son of ‘Adam, I do not care if your sins reach the height of the heaven, then you ask for my forgiveness, I would forgive you. O son of ‘Adam, if you come to Me with an earth load of sins, and meet Me associating nothing to Me, I would match it with an earthload of forgiveness.”‘
      [At- Tirmidhi].

      Subhan Allah, how can we lose hope after that my sister! Allah is so Generous!

      I also want us to remember this magnificent ayah:

      “Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” [Qur’an: Chapter 39, Verse 53]

      So, AlhamdulAllah for the reminder and don’t give up and keep going strong and blessed with the aid of Allah everything will be okay and there is always ease after hardship. So long as we remember Allah and seek Him and ask of His Help and direct our hearts to Him, then there is always hope and khair and all sorts of goodness, insha’Allah.

      May Allah help and bless and protect you my sister!

Ma sha allah, it is a much needed article for me; so many things to learn; specially these sentences hit me on the spot since I often make this same mistake (giving my total focus on the current problem, forgetting all the other blessings I have) again and again: “try not to make the problem the center of your life. Get up and do something good, something positive”
