    • As Salaam Alaikum, I really enjoyed the article. It clearly and simply stated the steps needed to learn how to to live solely for
the sake of Allah SWT. Keep up this good work. May Allah make us all Productive Muslims. WAS, Ameedah

  1. I have to say that I’m a bit disappointed to read this article, because I expected this article to give some tips about how to align our intentions of doing worldly activities (on which average Muslims in the west spend most of his/her time) with Islam. But I can’t see any such tip. For example, why I am studying Computer Science? Why am I doing PhD? Why am I coding? Why I am (or gonna) teaching Algorithms to the students?

    No clue….

    • hi Mohammad I you are not honest for yourself. the tips are there and as long as you can read and understand there is no need you can blame. may Allah s.w make you understand

  2. jazakallah Brother.May Allah bless you for everything that you are doing to create awareness among the Muslims.

  3. Jazakallah khayir for this.
Could you please provide a direct reference for the first quote by ibn al Qayyim, if possible.

    Thank you

  4. Assalamualaikum

The section about patience lacks a bit of clarity for me.I’m having some trouble understanding the direct link between patience and intentions. Does it mean that when one has the wrong intentions they lack patience? or rather they will lack patience? More clearly, would it mean that when one has the correct intentions ( i.e for the sake and pleasure of Allah) then no matter the trails and tribulations they encounter they will stand firm and be patient? is that what is trying to be conveyed?

    Clarification would be much appreciated.

    jazakallah

    • I think he means that overcoming our intentions and make them all for the sake of Allah only is not an easy thing, it will take time. So, we have to be patient and never give up if we felt that we have not full control on our intentions. That i understood, and Allah Knows.

  5. I have a question: if i make intention in my heart that i will never smoke again and i say this to Allah in my heart and ask him to forgive me BUT after some days if i smoke again then will i be punished for the last intention i made to Allah nd then broke it??
